VAT / Tax Status

At the time of publication, the provider qualifies as a small-business owner pursuant to § 6 Abs. 1 Z 27 UStG (Austrian VAT Act). No VAT is shown on direct invoices issued by the provider.

For Premium subscriptions sold via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, EU VAT is collected, reported, and remitted by Apple Distribution International Ltd. (Ireland) and Google Commerce Limited (Ireland) as merchant of record — the VAT amount appears on the consumer's receipt issued by those platforms, independently of the provider's own VAT status.

Currently no UID (VAT identification number) is used. If the small-business exemption ceases to apply (e.g. turnover exceeds the statutory threshold of currently € 55,000 net p.a. effective 1 January 2025) or if a UID becomes legally required for other reasons, this Legal Notice will be updated.

Editorial Direction (Blattlinie pursuant to § 25 MedienG)

Information and documentation regarding jazz practice methods, music education, software updates, and marketing communication for the JazzVizor application. The website does not pursue any political or ideological direction.

The provider is neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 19 AStG).

EU consumers retain the right to bring any legal proceedings in the competent court of their country of habitual residence (Brussels I bis Regulation 1215/2012).
